I like the idea of easy to build Google Android apps. Blogging and even Twitter allows unskilled people to show talent. Heck, lots of people started off as web developers thanks to Dreamweaver or even Geocities.
Vodafone UK is to become the first mobile phone operator to pass on 100% of donations to charities via text messaging, now there’s a petition to get the networks here to do the same.
Specially negotiated deals via Boards.ie. You don’t need to be a member to avail.
The Ryan Academy has announced a new venture accelerator fund for early stage Irish tech start-ups. Bit I like is:
€50,000 in direct funding, as well as a three-month programme of support from the Ryan Academy for Entrepreneurship, which will include office space, mentorship and specially-designed networking and educational programmes
Cash is handy but mentoring with the right people is worth so much more.
Nice handy app for Android phones. Say when you have left a parking spot so others can find it. Open Spot.

Saw Kirsten Rutherford and her Underground Restaurant on the BBC last night. Great idea and she also runs a farmers market in the house and gardens too!
Bookdepository celebrates their 6th birthday with 10% discounts you can send friends. Been using them a lot lately. Free delivery is the selling point for me. Everything I look for (bookwise) on Amazon is there too.
Via BenThe Guardian redone to show one story per page. Simple but beautiful. No ads or other competition would mean more attention per story I would guess but attention would fade quicker too I should think?
Scissor Sisters take out a fake ad on a real escort website to promote their album. Ballsy. You wouldn’t get Boyzone doing that.
