This would be Richard’s fav mailing list.
So let’s split it and take 100k each? Or I’ll settle for 50k as a junior partner?
Hell, ten of us can get together for 20k per head and we’ll have the discussion forum making coffee for participants.
Wow! 70K per year to run a mailing list? I wonder who won the contract.
Certainly nice work for whoever won the contract!
WHAT?!?!?! Man I have to get involved on these government deals. 😮
I’m literally sitting here with my jaw on the floor.
I’ll do it 😉
Tender won by electricnews.net a while ago
I’m keeping an eye on that site anymore though!
Cost = €0 for the list mgr software and maybe €200 p.a. for a VPS to run it on.
Time cost for moderating 10 msgs per day = 10 mins.
Nice profit margin there.
Having just spent the past few days doing battle with our annual emailshot, I think that €210K is a bargain!!
That wouldn’t be such a bad price if their email/newsletters were actually formated properly, let alone viral. Furthermore, as a client, I have yet to receive a personal email – they’re always addressed as ‘Dear Client’. The most basic tools that can be used internally can get that right.
Sorry, forgot to check the box to ensure I received updates to this post. I personally don’t mind you making the assumption and just check it automatically Damien.
