New blog (to me) Drinkin’ Guinness in the 416

And another. Mishkan ha-Echad

And another. (spotting a trend?) Vinca in tha kitchen

Have a looksee at the Irish Allotments blog.

Pat Phelan versus O2 at Mobile Monday?

So Bandcamp looks interesting.

Hilarious. How Panti and a friend conned a TV show into sending them to NY.

Want these cakes. Now.

Saul Bass was such a genius.

But in the new economy of abundance, monitoring use without charging for use is sufficient for extracting new value. More.

Great whitepaper on visitor engagement.

Is this real? It almost seems like this dog’s actions are SFX.

Clever little bastid, that dog! I love the end though – the dogs looking out at… what? Great find.

    From that drinkingguinnessinthe416 blog…

“Re investing, been buying up more IRL recently, and see that stockadvisers.com is recommending it now as “Ireland’s stock market is now the cheapest market in the world based on forward price earnings and price to book”, but am still getting hammered in general.”

And that’s from July 31st! Ouch!! Down another 700 points since then, he’d better be long and strong for the next 30 years, even then I wouldn’t have confidence in the ISEQ…

What’s noteworthy about that blog? It’s nearly worse than truecasey.com!

Thanks for the link! 🙂 We need as much exposure as possible!

I thought for a second those might be my strawberry boob cakes (um, even though I only uploaded them yesterday). But then it occurred to me that of course the icakes would be far more up your street 🙂

*Sigh* Late to the party, as usual. Tug, it’s just a little personal blog for my online buddies in canuckistan to read sometimes. Don’t worry, I’m a young ‘un so do indeed have thirty years (I hope!) and I’m dollar cost averaging anyway. But regardless, IRL is for fun, I’m in boring bonds and canadian/US index funds with my real money. And no matter what the market’s doing, unlike my quantity surveying brethren at home in Dublin my job over here’s secure 🙂

I have a feeling the dog has done that before …. all those nailed up planks and weights on the roof. Beagles are tough to contain though, little balls of energy.
