These kids are the future leaders of our country, seriously they are.

Thank God they’ll mature and wise up by the time they’re real politicians.

I’ve always thought Cowan was a bit dry but I’d love to go pinting with him. He seems like good craic.

There are echoes of Ronan O’Gara and Coppers in that last picture…

Doheny & Nesbitt (Dublin) is where he hangs out if I remember rightly

I don’t know who I am more worried about, the future leaders or the future leader.
February 26th, 2008 at 11:51 pm
Hmm…. Brian does look a little… tired and emotional.

I’ll get my passport, then.

There’s a joke about a guy in a Barney suit… Cowan reminds me of this in these pictures.
Seriously tho, really I see very little political future in this country unless the old parties are destroyed. We need new parties, with new people with their own money (Left over from their confirmation)

Is that a Monica Lewinsky in the last photo? *snigger*
February 27th, 2008 at 9:46 am
I never thought an Irish politician would get shit-faced.
February 27th, 2008 at 9:48 am
You’re too cruel Damien.
Silly of them to be posting it though

I know the girls in pictures 2 and 6 and to be honest they know who they are, and ought to be ashamed about how they behaved over the weekend.
There’s echoes of http://www.redwatch.co.uk about this!
February 27th, 2008 at 10:16 am
@Gav Do you think? I wouldn’t be ashamed, they’re unwinding. Though tagging the video with “alcohol” was silly.

Future leaders? Buy now while they’re cheap!

Keith, that’s priceless!

Looks like those who have the least cop on are the ones who post their pictures on the net. I presume that’s where you got your pics Damien?
As a member of Ogra I won’t bullshit about the “few rotten apples” and say that they’re dead right, but I do know of a lot of other people who were quite sober. But no one wants to take photos of that! Drinking and irish politics often unashamedly go hand-in-hand regardless of party.
February 27th, 2008 at 9:49 pm
Face It..
The Party’s Over…..
February 28th, 2008 at 1:04 pm
Oh my god, people had a few drinks and a party. Clearly they should all be locked up and never allowed partake in public events again.
Seriously lads, the nitpicking is getting fairly pedantic at this stage.
