Fluffy Links – December 21st 2006

While waiting for the AA to come along and start my car this morning, a few links for your pleasure.

New blogs on the block for this week.

Sponsorship for the Blog Awards 2007 is now open. Each category will cost EUR270 to sponsor. Seven of the 21 categories have already been booked.

I like the latest delicious homepage widget but jeez, this could have been released years ago.

Gotta love the cut-throat car advertising market.

Some fucking idiot in the states put her grandchild through an airport x-ray scanner

So maybe Bebo wasn’t the top search for 2006. Seems the search engine people have been filtering/censoring their top searches lists.

This is a really cool way of giving a Christmas present to employees. Origami using a 100 dollar bill, wrapping an iPod Shuffle.

I had a look at the new blogs on the block. Now, I admit that I am an EU nerd and have an above average knowledge of the EU legislative processes and where to find information on what the different institutions are up to (as waider discovered when he mentioned his concerns at a proposal on software patents). But the first entry I saw when I opened the set even my eyelids on a downward descent: “Late night negotiations in Moscow has led, finally, to what looks like a deal over meat exports from EU member States.

But some of the earlier stuff does look interesting.

So do the AA come around every morning to start your car? 🙂
