    Someone will no doubt correct me on this, but wouldn’t the filters in the windscreens affect the plant growth?

    the theory is 1% loss in light = 1% loss in [plant] production [ie photosynthesis]. If someone can tell me the light % reduction as a result of the filters – you have yourself an answer.
