On the ball Damien!

I see lots of SMEs who didn't bother to develop lists "when things were good".

As if that's not bad enough many still haven't copped to get one going. Selling 101, keep track of your customers and keep in touch with them.

I think a lot of people who set up their business during the boom are in shock, they never had to "work" for work and now it seems as if they are paralysed.

Just remember you cannot send your past customers unsolicited email or texts if you haven't asked their permission in the previous 12 months. They bought a car off you 5 years ago? Tough, can't text them.

A certain car dealership in Carrigaline started texting me 3 years after I bought my car there.

I've got a complaint in to the Data Commissioner about another Cork company who were very rude when I informed them (twice) they were breaking the law. Blog post to follow eventually.
