I totally agree, ate their last year and the service was abysmal. Also, food totally disappointing…as John said, too many good places to go to…

People next to me waited 15-10 mins after they ordered their food. Asked where it was, got told girl had gone to get it. Girl then comes from inside about 6 mins later and guy that said she was gone upstairs asks her in front of said people to go upstairs and find out where their food is. Awful and uncaring service. Staff seemed openly hostile with each other too. I was left to wait about 10 mins before my order was taken too. Place was about 1/3 full.

I didn’t even get into the food which was bland. Pigs in blankets was the order. Crappy mash and burnt sausages.

Have to disagree.

Have been to The Farm plenty of times and have always found it to be really good for food and service.

The owner never visited the Cork International Airport Hotel. I bet they never have a problem since the taps are automatic.

It baffles me when places like this spend so much money on the tangiables and forget completely the simple intangiables of good customer service. Do they also realise that people don’t tolerate that shoddy service anymore and will simply review it online or tell all their friends. So despite all the lovely trapings of shiny decor etc, this place will never be a success.

That’s just pathetic. If they were really concerned about it, they would replace the taps with more modern ones to deal with the rare occasion of taps being left on.
