I quite like some of MC Solaar’s stuff, and loved that song when it was released – was it 1994 or so?! Fecking hell.. Anyway, it still sounds so great, and love when it crops up on my mp3 player.

    Thanks for sharing!

As for Mc Solaar I was sure I was the only person on the planet who remembered it:

Still gives me goosebumps every time I hear it… Must dig it out for Soundcheck on Thursday… You up?

I remember flying into Paris CDG a few years ago and listening to a tiny radio I had just to sample Paris radio stations. One of them was playing Serge Gainsbourg’s Ballad Of Bonnie & Clyde (the main sample in this) I had a three disc of his greatest hits by the time I flew out…

Cathy’s business card would appear to have been inspired by Hugh McLeod.

  5. Cathy’s business card was in deed inspired by Hugh McLeod and made by the good people at Streetcards. http://gapingvoid.streetcards.com/. They offer great customer service and costs approx €35 euro for 50.

1: Make vaguely snarky comment on A-Lister’s blog!
2: Post sheepish apology on receipt of clarification!
    3: Get rich!

So long, suckers – I’m off to St. Tropez.
