Young Leo, if you're after a giggle, was on Morning Ireland in the first half hour this morning and got absolutely fucking killed.

Picked the wrong angle completely and got hung out to dry in the most excruciating manner possible, sounding for all the world like an inept schoolchild.

Great textbook example of how not to do a radio interview (lesson 3: unprepared in the face of controversy).

"I really do wonder at times about the Greens though."

I stopped wondering about the Greens when clever Trevor pulled his stunt after the last election, resigning as leader to avoid breaking his commitment against leading the Green Party into coalition with the Cute Hoors.

Didn't stop him taking his junior ministry.

Mind you, they'll pay a price for their duplicity. Not many parents will forget the Greens voting to cancel the cervical cancer vaccine programme along with all the other cutbacks, especially in education.

The Greens chose to lie down with dogs. They'll be scratching for a long time to come. Just ask the Labour Party.

[...] Unlike Damien I think Leo Varadkar would do well to move back to FÁSgate watch, the way contracts were awarded and tenders for millions of Euro not advertised and stop being a silly lad appearing on every radio/tv station that’ll have him calling for Ministerial resignations. A look at regulations for how many civil servants one needs to hold the Minister’s hand is only peripheral but interesting none the less. [...]
