Damien, try a toasted Ham and Banana Sandwich, but you have to make it with real butter. Oh and with white 'plastic' bread. None of your fancy artisan breads here!

Once you've had one of those, there's no going back.

One of my absolute favourites and very simple is sardines in brine mixed with vinegar and toasted between two slices of bread.

A 2 litre bottle of coke stuck in the freezer for about 3 hours. When you take it out it's half frozen and icey and slushy. Great for Friday afternoons after meetings. Note: Extreme sugar rush.

Not saying you've done it all wrong but...

Mash up an over-ripe banana in a dessert bowl with a fork. Add one teaspoonful of white sugar (None of your wholefoods demerara nonsense). Mash a bit more. Stick it in a buttered sandwich.

My gran used to make me these when I was little and they are still *gorgeous*.

My God I'm starving now!

Nutella + a spoon.

Rocket + Parmesan. On anything. It's just one of those explosive combinations!
