We went there via ferry (from Valdez, a place most people have heard of), and when we got there we drove around once, and then immediately went to queue for the tunnel to get the FUCK out of there as quickly as possible. Plus of course it benefits them to put a hurdle in the way to lower the noise. Jesus, can you imagine what Boards.ie or Foot.ie would be like if you didn't have to register for the vast majority of the forums? It doesn't bear thinking about! I'd love to force people to register on my blog to comment, it would knock the spam overhead on the head instantly. Unfortunately I doubt my half dozen subscribers would <em>ever</em> comment if I did that.
