That ambient Skype stuff if really cool. I only started using video Skype recently and when I got a loan of a second sub-notebook set one up in the living room and another up in my bedroom/office. The ‘ambient intimacy’ thing didn’t quite click with me at the time but in hindsight that’s very much what it felt like (even though we were in the same bloody house!
