Because if it's option three then I don't think your review carries any weight whatsoever. That's no way to strap yourself in and enjoy a loud and brash action flick. I find both to be good traits in films but First Blood is so much more than that. I learnt about Rambo around the same time I saw Rocky Balboa and I felt a faint glimmer of hope that like Rocky Balboa they might go back to the drawing board and look at what made the original work. A Rambo film that focussed on a vet 35 odd years after 'Nam who now only has his skills rather than superhuman strength (ala the 2nd and 3rd Rambo flicks) to help him. That could have worked, instead the trailer and your review give the impression that this is basically following on from Rambo III as though it was a well thought out film. I'm still going to watch it but be warned folks, this might not be the end of the saga. Stallone opted against calling it John Rambo because it would imply that, like Rocky Balboa, this was the end of the story. Stallone said he is open to making further Rambo flicks. Nothing is over!!!
