If you like the Wire ,
The Corner: A Year in the Life of an Inner-City Neighborhood.
Will rock your world. Six part HBO docudrama that aired in the UK a few years ago. Its too close to the bone for Irish TV in that The Wire is a follow on watered down version of it. Same corners and in the case of DeAndre
you will recognize the character hair’n'all.

It’s a must_have DVD from the same guy or to put it another way its one of the few dvd’s that I have actually made a point of buying rather than burning;-)

Re Amy, I mentioned that about the Beeb scanning camera shots on my blog. It really bugged me and seemed gratuitous and tacky. Fantastic performance thought.
