A way for Rte to make their big splash with minimal effort would be to make their raw unedited footage available for non-commercial reuse.

From their radio internists to online to Guardian Films, the Guardian, under the wider company the Guardian Media Group, know that they are now a media company. But while all of this is done the newspaper (in print or online) will remain central and diversity is seen as a way to protect it.

“Iâ€™ve heard from some sources that the current Irish Times bloggers are doing it out of a love for writing and receive sfa from their employer to do it”.

A good while back I put that question and others on the business of the Irish Times blogging to them and, surprise, surprise, got no reply.
