Educamp Ireland – A BarCamp on the Irish Education system. For the resources that schools are given, they do a fantastic job but a great deal more needs to be done.

ByteSense. Analyse your AdSense earnings. Yet another fantastic application from Robin.

Michael Gartenberg, the next Scoble? Been a big fan of Michael for the past few years. A very high quality blogger, I look forward to his new blog.

Clever ad for AXE.

James from Top Gear on the Alabama incident.

Another mod for the Robosapien.

  1. Cheers Damien! lol. Looks like I may be home for the IBA’s (certainly for barcamp dublin) – so see you there.

It is clever, but I oppose advertisements that play with, draw upon or share features with safety or warning notices that could in any way be mistaken for the real thing. So, those AXE images in a photograph in magazine would be fine, but not on the walls or hallways of a public building.

(In the last European Parliament elections, one of the candidates in Leinster used flashing signs of the same design that are used to warn motorists of temporary hazards on major roads. Such was the hue and cry that she dropped that approach.)
