Currently it is 1900 on Dec 24th 2006 and there is only one item when you search for the keyword “unwanted” on ebay.ie and select “Ireland Only” from the search box. RSS link for those wanting to monitor it over a few days.

Let’s see what it is like come 1000 in the morning and at 1400 and at 1800 and on St. Stephen’s day,

I don’t know if this is the pedant in me or if the situation has changed since when you had a go, but …

At 23h36, there are zero items on ebay.ie from Ireland described as “unwanted”.

What it does return are (1) a single item in ebay shops where the “unwanted” occurs in the phrase “Eliminate Vicious Unwanted Programs”, and (2) six items from other places that are themselves described as unwanted. Minor cultural marker: five are from Hong Kong and are described as “unwanted gift” but the sixth from the UK is described as an “unwanted present“.

    Happy Christmas to you.

That’s very odd. The RSS feed gave me 15 items. Hmmm, again, I say “hmmm”.

I got some socks I could throw into the pile, but really, I’d rather just give them to you. Happy Christmas, honey bunch!
