Green party expenses are high because they don't accept corporate donations and because they are entitled to the money to run their constituency offieces where as FF and FG might share one due to having more than one candidate per constituency. also note that simon coveny just claims his expenses from his MEP job. probably . what a joke, i don't know how anyone can vote for such a greedy guy. at least he's promised to drop his MEP job if he gets back into the dail. if he was here 15 years ago he probably would have been an mep, cllr and T.D. all at the same time if he could get away with it. also ministers salaries are phenomenal it either comes from those (€250,000 p.a.) or they just charge everything to their respective department. as for bertie ahern's make up bill it was roughly €28,000.
