I I bought the Agent 18 video shield from the Apple website (see link below), after using one of the rubber covers for a while. It’s the best cover I’ve seen so far. It offers great screen protection and affords the same functionality, without being that intrusive. for 35 quid it was well worth it. The rubber one was hard to take off, had no screen protection and gathered dirt like a tabloid journalist.

Simon, these covers won’t fit iPod Mini. Right now I just have the Nano size and the ipod Video size. I think the Mini have different dimensions? If not I’ll send one on.

I have a colourful blue iPod Mini. I’ll take a cover for trial purposes and report back, if you like. I’ll probably send it back to you for someone else to review afterwards, though.

I’m not sure I’ve ever felt the need to buy protectors for any of my gizmos. And I’d say I’d balk at â‚¬5 (or any other price other than zero) in a shop and prefer to take my chances.

Its a bit like the mobile phone covers that were all the rage a few years ago. It spoiled the purity of the phone. I didn’t like them.

I think they’re different dimensions James. The new iPod Videos are thinner than the previous iPods. I could be wrong though and you can have a cover if you want one.

Looks good, I only have a 40gig normal iPod myself though, so I don’t know if it would fit. To answer your question though, yes I would pay a fiver for it. I had to pay like 25euro for the last iPod cover I got.
