Hi Damien,

Business Cards should be looked at like mini billboards. One common mistake that alot of people make is putting their business name at the top of their card! EG. If you fix broken TV's...rather then put "John's TV Repairs" at the top, you would be better off putting "Your TV Fixed in 2 Days or You Don't Pay!"

Putting an eye-catching headline is key...just like when you read a newspaper, you look for the headline that interests you and read the article...a business card is the same.

PS (EDIT THIS PART...I have 100's of visits to my blog about business cards each day...and would also like to do be in your blogroll? You can see it here... www.businesscarddisplays.info . Just pop me an email to dean@businesscarddisplays.info to arrange it if you choose to. Thanks)

[...] Damien Mulley has a better idea with creating a Google PPC ad. This way you are not infringing on Google’s logo and you still have something different yet recognizable. [...]

Yea that's not the smartest things to do... using another company's logo on your own business cards. The idea is very clever, but as a recipient I would be a bit confused.

I'm almost certain he will use these as a personal business card, one handed to friends and informal acquaintances.
